Effortless only collects and uses personal information that is necessary for us to provide our products and services; such as information required to evaluate insurance risk, determine eligibility, administer insurance plans, manage claims, and provide related reporting and analysis. Effortless does not give out or sell any personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Consent, use, and retention
Effortless only collects, uses, and discloses personal information with your consent (express or implied) and as otherwise required or allowed by law. To the maximum extent possible, personal information is collected directly from each individual. You may decline or withdraw your consent, however certain products or services administered by Effortless will require your personal information. Effortless welcomes the opportunity to explain why we need the information and how it will be used.
Effortless also collects personal information indirectly in the course of its business, i.e., from plan members about dependents, from employers about employees, from insurance advisors and insurers about employers, or from other sources in the ordinary course of business. Effortless limits the use, disclosure, and retention of personal information, internally and externally, to the extent needed to perform our services and to fulfill our obligations under contract and applicable law.

You have a right to access, review, and challenge the accuracy and completeness of your personal information held by Effortless. Effortless is committed to prompt engagement with all access requests in accordance with applicable law, and will document all access requests, challenges, and all related disagreements or discrepancies. If applicable law provides an exception to your right of access, Effortless will promptly inform you of the reason for not providing access and of any recourse you may have.
